The 3rd Annual "Alexandria 5k/10k Run" offers something for everyone!
New in 2009:
* The 5k/10k runs will now be sanctioned by the USA Track & Field Association.
* Pickle Events will provide the chip timing services for the run.
* All participants are invited to attend the Kick-Off Celebration on the evening of Friday the 18th.
Dinner, music and silent auction will be provided at no extra charge to each registered participant. Family and friends are welcome to join the festivities; a free will donation is encouraged, but not required.
Please be sure to RSPV either on the on-line registration form or via email: lahs@gctel.net. Once your RSPV is received, an email will follow with the Celebration details.
All types of runners are welcome! Besides the 5k and 10k Runs, the event includes a scenic dog walk to City Park and 1k Kids Run for children 12 & under.
All pre-registered run participants will receive a long-sleeved commemorative t-shirt and a goody bag. Water will be provided to both two-legged and four legged participants. Early discounts are offered, so be sure to register soon!
